Ludhiana, November 5
A member of the District Ludhiana West Subdivision Grievances Redressal Committee and secretary of the Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal, Mohinder Aggarwal, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and demanded opening of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) dispensaries in each of the 95 wards of the Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana.
Aggarwal said the CGHS dispensaries should be opened at the earliest in the city.
“As per information collected by me from Central Government departments and various employees of the Central Government, CGHS dispensaries are in operation in some other cities. We request to the Prime Minister and Union Health Minister to direct the authorities concerned to open CGHS dispensaries in the city.” — TNS
